I grew up in a small town in central Washington. After a stint in the military, I went to college on the GI Bill. After becoming a father I needed to put food on the table and began working in the music industry. I began in retail and quickly moved into wholesale as a manufactures representative. I ended up as the National Sales Manager for the largest manufacturer of electronic musical instruments in the world. After 25+ years it was time to get off the road and I spent the next six years in the corporate world as a Project Manager at Microsoft. At that point our daughter urged me to join her in real estate and we joined forces to form the SkyBlue Portland Real Estate Group.
Real estate provides me an opportunity to combine my prior life experiences … sales, marketing, financial planning, social media marketing, and project management into a discipline that helps people make the biggest financial decision of their life.
My Approach & Values
For most of us our home is the bedrock of our life. When we move, everything changes … where we eat, sleep, play, study, work, relax … you name it, it’s all different. This wholesale change is stressful. The key to a smooth transition is advance planning.
When you hire me as your realtor, the first step is to get together, preferably in person, so I can understand your concerns and goals when buying or selling a home. This preliminary session also allows you to see if my style is a fit for you. Together we explore your options and if the time is right for you, we’ll build a move strategy that is right for your situation.
When you hire me to assist in the process of selling or buying a home I feel both honored and duty bound, to help you meet your goals. My goal is to help you sell or buy a home at the right price, at the right time, with the best possible terms, with the least amount of stress. I look forward to helping you make your dreams come true.
