The small Barrington Heights-Hidden Creek-Tanner Creek neighborhood (often called Barrington Heights or BHT) lies in the southeast quadrant of West Linn. It is bordered to the north and east by Sunset, to the north and west by Savanna Oaks, and to the south and east by highway 205 and the southeastern tip of Willamette.
BHT is a decidedly upscale community in the West Linn hills with gorgeous homes–many of them federal, colonial, or traditional in style. Mature, tree-lined streets with wide sidewalk boulevards are the norm. Sweeping territorial views are also common. More modest homes (in scale and price) are available on the lower elevation edges of the neighborhood. BHT is also home to several gated communities, namely prestigious Le Chevalier at the north tip of the neighborhood.
The Barrington Heights-Hidden Creek-Tanner Creek neighborhood has a current population of around 825, with an estimated future population of 850. Of 11 West Lynn neighborhoods, it is one of the smaller communities, at #9 in population size. It has no medium-density or medium-high density residential units.
